Gallios

3 Lasers, up to 10 simultaneous fluorescences, working with Kaluza Acquisition software. Provided with a carousel tube loader, up to 32 samples.

Cytoflex LX

5 lasers, up to 19 simultaneous fluorescences, working with Cytexpert 2.2 software. Work with tubes from 1.5 to 5mL or with plate loader (96well standard or deep well plate, with flat, U or V bottom

Astrios EQ

4 lasers, up to 15 simultenous fluorescence, working with Summit acquisition software. Instrument under cabinet hood with laminar air flow, installed in a negative pressure lab. Thermostated sorter (4°C to 37°C), for samples before and after sort. Up to 6 simultenous sorts (from 1.5 to 5 ml tubes). Sorts can be generated into plates, tubes or on slides. 3 differents sorting mode : Enrich, Purify, single sort (cloning). Sort with 70µm nozzle (60psi pressure) or 100µm nozzle (25psi pressure)

Cellular Phenotyping until 10 colors, basic cellular analyses (apotposis), large vesicles phenotyping (>250nm), Cytometric Bead Array…

Complex cellular phenotyping, or basic phenoptyping without spectral overlap, small and large vesicles phenotyping (>90-100nm)

Conditions of use

Regarding financial operations, AMUTICYT is managed by Protis Valor Méditerranée and/or Aix Marseille Université, depending on the origin of funds. After an initial meeting to determine all the main sides of the project (complexity, time, self-use or with technical assistance), Core facility generates, via Protis Valor or AMU, a quotation for the customer. After agreement, project begins depending on the availability of ressources (instrument/human ressource).

 

Instruments available for self use (after training course) or with technical assistance. For assistance, please contact first Core facility Manager at least two weeks before the experiment and fill the analysis project form.
Cytometers available for C2VN people from Monday to Friday, possible during the week-end and after 8 PM, with specific authorizations. For other people, instruments can be used from Monday to Friday, from 8 AM to 6 PM. Slots for each day are limited to 3 Hours a day, except specific request and initial agreement with Manager.
Slots can be booked using Open Iris website (iris.science-it.ch). After initial registration on the web site followed by training course with Facility manger, bookings can be done , depending on the availability of instruments.
